West Michigan Women's Hockey League Rules

1. Don't be a jerk. We are all out here to have fun and go home to our families after the game.

2. Ringer rule: a player is allowed to score a max of 3 goals per game. Any additional goal will result in a penalty.

3. Read the rink: this league is designed to help new skaters continue to grow their skills. Understand who you're up against and allow some extra space if necessary to give them the play.

4. No hitting, roughing, or checking.

​

5. Be on the ice on time for warm-ups and game time. It is important to be prepared and on time. 

​

6. Captains reserve the right to assess a suspension or expulsion if a player does not follow these rules or obtains too many penalties.

7. Captains reserve the right to add rules at any time. Rules will be reassessed from time to time, and in doing so, all players will be notified in advance of any rule change.
